This is the first I’m hearing of it, so I haven’t planned to see it, but I might if I can. I really love The Beatles as the musicians/songwriters they are and were and I’d probably enjoy the film well enough. :)

Well, I first started this blog as a writing blog where I posted and reblogged the things that inspired a story I was heavily invested in at the time, and it eventually evolved into what it is now. I don’t remember what my original URL was, but I changed it to callingondixie to reflect the story the blog was originally meant for. So, in a round-about way, the URL is also the title of a book I’m trying to write.

If you’re interested, the story is about a guy and a girl who grew up in West Texas and the guy works a cattle ranch while the girl is a struggling school teacher, and they’re kind of destined for each other. But, the girl is what the guy loves most in the world after everything is torn away or broken - she’s his home, his southern heart - and in an antiquated term, he “calls on” or requests her to be a part of his life again after there being years of absence.
